We have an offering for every occasion. Just like we customize the goals of our work for your team, we also customize the format to find something that best fits your needs. Below you'll find some of our most popular formats, from one-time workshops to extended consulting. And - of course - if you're thinking about something you don't see on this list, let us know and we'll make it happen.
Interactive learning
AREAS OF FOCUS
Below is a sample of some of the most popular goals of our clients. We are excited to work with you to design programming that works best for your organization's needs. Nothing is set in stone, and, if you can imagine it, there is a very good chance we can make it happen!
METHODOLOGY
Our methodology is centered around improvisational theater training. We have found that the tools that allow groups to get up onstage and create stories in front of live audiences foster the skills of creative brainstorming, mental agility, executive presence, resilience, trust, and collaboration. We combine improvisation with theories from design thinking, neuroscience, and behavioral economics to create and lead workshops suited to an organization's specific needs.
TIMING
Our timing is flexible. We are available for programs anywhere from one hour to a full weekend to a series of weekly or monthly sessions. We recommend longer programming for the most significant impact on teams.
Speaking and performances
AREAS OF FOCUS
Here are some common goals that pair quite nicely with our speaking and performances offerings. And, if you have an idea that's not on this list, we'd love to hear it!
WHAT WE BRING
As improvisers, we are very comfortable onstage. Our collaborations with clients have included emceeing events, hosting interactive opening or closing sessions of conferences, giving keynote speeches, and performing improv shows with audience participation.
Naturally, our team is often asked to speak on topics like creativity, teamwork, and the benefits of practicing improvisation. Beyond that, we encompass a diverse set of interests and skill sets. Ask us about teaching design to the Crown Princess of Sweden, saving the world through volcanic explosions, reporting for the New York Times in India and Nepal, growing food indoors, learning how to make a call-center the best place to work, knocking on doors for political campaigns, producing an interactive show on Alcatraz, and more!
Design research and strategy
OUR SERVICES INCLUDE
User experience research and ethnographic studies
Facilitation of design sprints (1-day to multi-week)
Experience prototyping and testing in real-life settings
- Design Thinking training programs (ranging from 4 hours to several months)
WHY DESIGN
Organizations large and small use design thinking to routinely innovate by connecting to and understanding their customers, clients and colleagues better. Using your team's own challenges we'll work closely with you to uncover human needs, reframe problems as opportunities for design, and generate breakthrough ideas that we bring to life in the moment.
Our entire team have trained and/or taught at Stanford’s Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (the d.school) and will bring that rigorous expertise in the practices and principles of human-centered design to your organization.
Customized experiences
YES, AND...!

Our team is made up of experienced performers and designers with experience creating a broad range of events. Send us a note, and we’d love to collaborate with you to turn that vision into a reality!
